As of 1 November 2009, Jan Maßmann has been appointed Chairman of the Management Board at E.ON Földgáz Trade. His predecessor, Dr Matthias Keuchel will return to Germany to take up a new position at E.ON Ruhrgas. Jan Maßmann will also join the Management Board of E.ON Hungária.
The new CEO of E.ON Földgáz Trade has degrees in mechanical engineering and business management and joined E.ON Ruhrgas in 1996. After working in natural gas sales, in 2002 he was appointed a member of the Management Board of the Slovak gas company SPP. He left SPP in 2007 after being Chairman of the Board. His latest position was Munich, where he worked as Senior Vice President and Head of the International Division of E.ON Energie AG.
