The globalisation of energy markets, the increasing energy demand of the world, as well as the effects these exercise on the climate, energy prices and supply security are the key issues of the present. Our industry is in the focus of public and political debates, we are under increasing pressure and we are expected to provide adequate and convincing answers. The solution does not only mean a challenge for us from the business side. We must acknowledge that the majority of people see our industry as part of the problem rather than the solution to it, for which phenomenon we are also partly responsible, and accordingly we work actively so that it can be altered.
Our objective is to make our commitment towards the energy related challenges obvious to those concerned, and we also intend to more efficiently introduce our activities performed against the climate change and for increasing the efficiency of energy production and usage, supply security and the liberalisation of the energy market, together with the results.
