In 2005, natural gas resources of Hungary increased by 4% compared to the previous year. The domestic production went up 3 % while import increased by 5 %; accordingly, the composition of the resources underwent some change at the expense of the domestic production or in favour of the import: 20 % of the natural gas came from domestic production and 80 % from import in 2005.
